The Cabin in the Woods was created as a peaceful modern hideaway, designed for a family who wanted a simple, calming place to reconnect with nature. We focused on warm materials, gentle light and a quiet architectural presence that sits comfortably within the landscape.
We delivered this new build using high quality timber, generous glazing and natural finishes that allow the cabin to blend seamlessly with its woodland surroundings. Our approach centred on creating a warm, grounded atmosphere, with every detail chosen to support a sense of calm and ease. Large windows draw in soft natural light and open up sightlines to the trees, while the timber structure gives the home a tactile, long lasting character. Through careful planning, precise workmanship and thoughtful detailing, the finished cabin feels both contemporary and deeply restful, offering a comfortable family retreat in the heart of the woods.
